Hello, my name is Daniel.

My younger sister and I suffer from lamellar ichthyosis.

Doctors told our parents it was a very rare skin condition with no cure. My parents used skin lotions such as Baby Magic to keep our skin moist.  We were born in Oregon.  The rain and moist air kept our skin moist and kept the soles of our feet from cracking and bleeding. Several treatments have been tried. I now use Vaseline Intensive Care lotion and Vaseline ointment but Dermal Therapy Epson Salt lotion for me works best. It sells on Amazon for $32.00/16 ounce bottle. I use a callous brush on the soles of my feet before a bath, then soak in the bath tub, use a warm wash cloth to exfoliate my face, then the callous brush for my arms and legs, then lightly towel dry. Heavily apply the Dermal Therapy lotion on my entire body. I do not apply the Dermal Therapy lotion on the face, underarms, and sensitive areas.
