Pierre Brault is an Ottawa based, multi award winning actor, playwright, stand-up comedian and Arts instructor. He has appeared on stages throughout his home country of Canada as well as internationally, to the UK, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. He is perhaps best known for his many “One man theatre shows” such as Blood on the Moon and Portrait of an Unidentified Man, which have garnered him numerous awards and stellar reviews.
 
Pierre is also a veteran of film and TV, most recently in a starring role in Hallmark’s Catch me if you Clause. He has written and appeared often on Canadian radio and television and wrote and starred in his own award winning BRAVO TV special.
 
Pierre has severe epidermolytic ichthyosis and credits his condition and its many challenges, for creating a deep emotional well from which to draw.  He is inspired by the courage and resilience of the FIRST community and is looking forward to finally meeting his brothers and sisters. He is presently researching and working on a solo show about his life with ichthyosis.
