Report of a Case

A man in his 30s presented with severe and generalized ichthyosis. Born with collodion membrane, he rapidly developed nonpruriginous diffuse scaly hyperkeratotic grayish skin (Figure, A and B) responsible for recurrent bacterial infections, disabling loss of joint mobility, anhidrosis, ectropion, and complete social isolation.
