I go by the name of David Artz but most people call me as Dartz. I have a genetic skin disorder called IFAP. Ichthyosis follicularis - alopecia - photophobia (IFAP) is a rare genetic disorder characterized by the triad of ichthyosis follicularis, alopecia, and photophobia from birth.
A little bit about me: I was born in Tianjin China. I was adopted at the age of 7.5. I was living in a foster home and was at a general orphanage school. I had a difficult time in the orphanage. I didn't have the basic needs that a human would need to have a safe and healthy life. I got treated badly by my parents.
I was bullied at the orphanage but still showed kindness. I admittedly showed a lot of anger. Although I couldn't express it, I felt it. When I left Tianjin, I finally went to a real restaurant, ate something other than soup, and I was respected.
In 2022, I founded a website called, storyaidhelp.info. StoryAidHelp was a bridge between my story and others. StoryAidHelp was created to empower kids and adults to further their knowledge on hot topics in the mental health field and provide them support when they are faced in a world of hurt, sorrow, or grief. Founded on my grandma’s porch, StoryAidHelp remains to keep guiding teens towards the path of success with the reels I post on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Podcasts bridge my dreams and missions together, providing real support to those in the community. I don’t care if I get 1 view or 1 million views, 1 life saved is 1 more story to be heard.
