A shoutout to my mom Jorja Watts, who doesn’t get enough credit for being an advocate for her kids and grandkids. Today was Family Day at my grandma’s nursing home and I was with all the nephews. Someone asked me if someone in my family handed out info cards about Miles’s condition. Turns out this person and their kids met Miles's mom at a church fair and took the info mom gave them and did a deep dive to learn more about his condition.

I didn’t know mom did this until recently when she gave me some cards after I shamed and educated some adults for talking loudly about the way Miles looks. Miles is starting to notice people look at him differently and it breaks my heart. I’m glad my mom is making sure more people know about his condition, one person/pamphlet at a time.
