We are fortunate to be at a point in history where, as dermatologists, we can support people with rare diseases in truly meaningful ways. As a specialist in the study and treatment of rare skin diseases, I want to share some practical advice about how best to do this as a dermatologist in the NHS and encourage those of you with an interest in genetic skin diseases to get involved with some of our initiatives.
