The GRIDD Project
SIS International is reaching out on behalf of the International Alliance of Dermatology Patient Organizations (commonly referred to as GlobalSkin) to recruit a minimum of 2,000 adult dermatology patients from all diseases and all regions worldwide.
The Global Research on the Impact of Dermatological Diseases (GRIDD) project, launched by GlobalSkin in 2017, is a five-phase research and advocacy project and the world’s first global patient-initiated research in dermatology. One of its main outcomes will be to produce a novel, global patient-centric measure (questionnaire) on disease impacts.
GRIDD is currently in Phase 3; the Patient Data Verification Delphi (the Delphi).
We invite you to participate in the GRIDD Delphi which involves completing two surveys – one now and the second two months later. In order to participate you must be over 18 years of age and diagnosed with a dermatological condition.
The Delphi surveys are available online in English, French, Spanish, German, Chinese (Mandarin), and Arabic. All answers will be anonymized. To take part in this important research there is a simple two-step registration process: first on the SIS website where you are then directed to the GRIDD Delphi registration.
The GRIDD Delphi allows patients the opportunity to share how their condition impacts every aspect of their lives and will be contributing to important research. The novel global measure produced by the GRIDD project will generate data to help drive changes in health policies, support advocacy for better treatments and raise dermatology in the global disease rankings (i.e. WHO DALY rankings).
