Matching Gifts

The Foundation for Ichthyosis & Related Skin Types, Inc.TM (FIRST) has a growing matching gifts program to maximize funds available for programs benefitting those affected by ichthyosis or a related skin type.

Employee Matching Gifts are contributions from a corporate employer that match contributions to a charitable organization by a corporate employee.

More than 1,000 American companies have adopted corporate matching gift plans to help support nonprofit organizations.  Usually, employer matching gifts are dollar-for-dollar, but some companies will give double or even triple the original donation.

Please check to see if your, or your spouse's, employer matches gifts.  Some companies even match contributions made by retirees.

Contact your personnel or human resources office for eligibility requirements and to obtain a matching gift form.  Complete the employee section of the form and mail to:
