FIRST members Doug and Melissa Osterloth from Wauwatosa, WI, hosted a fundraiser to educate their community about ichthyosis, and raise funds for FIRST. Both friends and neighbors lent their support, helping the Osterloths raise over $1,000.00 in raffle sales and selling over $2,000.00 in Tupperware, of which FIRST received a percentage. These totals far exceed their original goal of $300! Melissa and Doug are planning to make this fundraiser an annual event. The Osterloths have been members of FIRST since 1999, and their two-year-old daughter, Tatum, has lamellar ichthyosis. FIRST extends their thanks and gratitude to the Osterloth family for their hard work, and the donors for their support.
